You're correct that Earlier Year Update (EYU) is no longer a valid submission for the tax year 2020 and subsequent tax years. That said, you'll have to submit a Full Payment Submission (FPS) to HMRC that shows all payments to employees, along with any deductions.
To answer your query, yes, the FPS is within QuickBooks. Also, submitting FPS depends on the payroll service you're using. You can use either of these two resources that match your service:
- Submit FPS to HMRC in QuickBooks Online Standard Payroll
- Submit FPS (Full Payment Summary) to HMRC in QuickBooks Online Advanced Payroll
