Error message on finalising a pay run

I have produce my first payrun and finalised it in Quickbooks online advanced payroll - however an error message appeared when it was trying to export to quickbooks (see attached).

 

it says that journals have been deleted but I have not deleted any journals. also there is a link to a related article but I cannot access it.

Hi Jackie,

 

Thank you for the screenshot. This happens if your books are closed or there are inactivated accounts associated to payroll. Let's check it out.

  1. Click the Gear icon.
  2. Choose Accounts and Setting.
  3. Select Advanced.

If your books are closed, please contact our Support for additional options. If not, you can check for inactivated accounts on your Chart of Accounts.  Just click the small Gear icon above the table and select Include Inactive. Then, activate the ones that are associated with payroll.

 

To contact Support:

  1. Click on Help and choose Contact Us at the bottom.
  2. Copy and paste this in the text box:  The payrun was finalised successfully although there was an error while publishing the journals. Click Let's talk.
  3. Choose Chat or Request for a Callback. Some options may not be available due to the availability of support.
