I am closing my quickbooks subscription and have been advised I will need to export all my payroll advance online data to excel.  How do I do this?  I can only see ways to export a single pay run, I need to export everything.

Hi there, @M for TF. It's important to ensure we get a copy of all our records. There is no option to export the payroll as a system you would have to export reports and then take all the data you need manually.

You can also export your employee data and payroll reports.

To get your employee data, follow these instructions:

  1. Select the Gear icon to open the Settings menu.
  2. Under Tools, click Export data.
  3. Select the Lists tab.
  4. Turn on Employees and click Export to Excel.

Then, the following steps will help download reports as Excel, CSV, or PDF.

  1. Go to the Payroll menu.
  2. Select the Reports tab.
  3. Choose your desired report.
  4. Fill in the necessary info.
  5. Click Download and select ExcelCSV, or PDF.

You can go to our QBO Advanced Payroll hub for easy access to resources that helps you manage your payroll and reports in QuickBooks:

If you have any other questions or concerns besides payroll reports, please don’t hesitate to add a reply below. We’re always here to assist you. Take care!

Thanks but that doesn't do what I want.

Firstly the employee data - it only gives name, address, telephone number and email.  No NI or pay details.

The second, is just a selection of reports.  What I want is ALL data relating to the payroll.  I do not want 30 or so reports to trawl through.
