FPS fails to go through to HMRC. All gateway details are correct, and I have re typed them in. This tax year 2/3 weekly pay runs have failed to submit.

Run pay run, gone to files to submit FPS, It fails to go through and goes back into my coming up list. Done the same process every week for donkeys years, now the last 3 weeks it does not work properly since new tax year. Spoke to QuickBooks several times, they tell me there was an issue and its now resolved but it still it does not work.

The problem is NOT my end. My details have not changed. QuickBooks have already told me they are having technical problems doing this on 6/4/2025. They them emailed in 12 saying it was resolved. Then the next pay run the same happens. This is a basic function QuickBooks is failing to do. You have had access to my computer twice and still the issue persists.

I'm in the same boat. A weekly payroll that I've processed for the last two of this tax year have gone through without a hitch. Yesterday I process the week 3 and the FPS submission fails with reason "it cannot resolve the name" when you look in the archive for the FPS filing

Tried deleting the payroll and reentering but still the same fault. Quickbooks tech had no joy either and ended up escalating the problem. One thing that was odd is that the submission deadline date would keep changing between the 25 April 2025 which is correct for the weekly payroll and 19 May 2025 as if it was a monthly submission.

I expect there has been a mid week update to Quickbooks that has cocked things up. Not great and going to the a real ball ache when I have many monthly payroll runs in a few days if they still haven't resolved the issue.

The core payroll has become a joke and not fit for purpose, Quickbooks need to get this sorted and provide a professional product.

Mine is the same. This has been an issue since the 6th April. QuickBook said it was fixed, but clearly it is not. This is a basic function to give details to HMRC which n a timely fashion.
