getting an error on final payroll its submitting to HMRC but not accepting

Error: 7877, At least one of [EMPLOYEE], [COMPRESSEDPART] or [FINALSUBMISSION] must be submitted

As much as I would love to help, this error should've taken care of the right support. I recommend reaching our Payroll Support Team to check it.

 

They have tools to check this error and verify the cause of it.

Hello Community users, we just wanted to pop in and add some information for future viewers of this thread. Here is a helpful article on all payroll error messages and what they mean. In particular error 7877 means that an FPS has tried to be submitted on a payroll with no employees or a period of inactivity. HMRC will not accept a blank FPS. Usually in that case you can just submit an EPS instead. If you are unsure about this you are welcome to ask questions here, we'd be happy to help.
