Has anyone managed to turn off auto payroll?

We have been switched to auto-payroll this month and I can't seem to turn it off (I've found the instructions but the auto-payroll option does not appear in my settings). The only employees are both directors and aren't necessarily paud the same amount each month (or even necessarily paid each month) how can I disable it?

If the issue persists, let's try perform some troubleshooting steps to help you fix the issue. You can log into your QuickBooks Online (QBO) account in a private window. Here are the keyboard shortcuts.

 

  • Press Ctrl + Shift + N (Google Chrome).
  • Ctrl + Shift + P (Firefox).
  • Control + Option + P (Safari).

Once signed in, you can double-check if the auto payroll option is already available. If not, go back to your default browser and clear the cache to speed up the loading process. There are times the cache becomes overwhelmed with older data which can potentially cause viewing and performance issues.

Hello

Thank you for your reply. I have tried everything you suggested. When I used a private window I still cannot see the auto-payroll box in my payroll settings. In my regular browser (chrome) I cleared the whole cache and I logged in again with no change. If you have any other ideas I would be very grateful.

  2. Select the Search tab and hit Contact Us.
  3. Key in your concern and hit Continue.
