The pension report that you can find in QuickBooks Online (QBO) depends on the payroll version you have, @natasza. I'm here to share details on how the system handles your pension earning amount. This way, you'll be able to pull up the report that shows the correct details.

Pension reports in QBO will show all your employees in your pension plan, their details, the date they enrolled, their assessment information, yours and their contributions, and their pensionable earnings. However, the threshold (520) amount isn't deducted in it.

With the Standard Payroll version, you can pull up the Workplace Pension report. While the Advanced Payroll will let you open the Pension Contribution report.

To open the Workplace Pension report, here's how:

  1. Go to the Reports menu.
  2. Select Workplace Pension in the Payroll section from the Standard tab.
  3. Choose whether you want to view the report for the tax year or the current month.
  4. Select the report you want to view, then it'll open as a CSV file.

You can open the Pension Contribution report through the Employees menu. Then, locate it in the Reports tab

In QBO UK, there are three payroll versions. You can select the appropriate link below for the payroll service you're using. This way, you'll have all the articles you need in managing your account and employees effectively:
