Hello, @sonia21.

When you convert your company file from QuickBooks Desktop to QuickBooks Online, some payroll information is not included. Your transactions and payroll accounts convert, however, the payroll item breakdown and employee year-to-date numbers.

This is the reason why you're not able to see your pay run wages figures when you run the balance sheet report. You'll have to enter a YTD data in QuickBooks.

Here's how:

  1. Go to the Employees menu.
  2. Choose the Employees tab.
  3. Click on the employee's name.
  4. Scroll down to the Pay history section.
  5. Toggle on the Your business has already paid (employee's name) since 6 April 2019 option.
  6. Enter the YTD details.

  7. Click Save.

You can read through this article for more details steps: Enter Year to Date Figures.
