Hi How do I file my monthly CIS return directly from Quickbooks online to HMRC. I have found a submit button in payroll but do I have to enter details manually in HMRC.

Helping you file your monthly CIS return via QuickBooks Online is my priority.

 

You don't need to enter the details manually to HMRC. You can turn on the CIS feature in QuickBooks Online and enter the necessary information. This way, you can file your returns without entering the details twice.

 

Here's how:

 

  1. Click the Gear icon > Company Settings (or Account and Settings depending on what you see).
  2. Click Advanced.
  3. Select the Construction Industry Scheme (CIS).
  4. Enter your info.
