HiI am starting a partnership with one other person to sell food in local markets. Can anyone tell me if QuickBooks is a suitable program to use for this?

In the small business products in Quickbooks, when you set up the account you can select the partnership option.

Are you needing to submit vat to hmrc, Do you need to run payroll?

No VAT and no payroll. Just the two of us trading together.

Do you need to submit Self-Assessments to HMRC, If so then you could get the Self-employed product of quickbooks.
