Glad to have you in the Community today. I'll share some insights about the EPS notification that you've received in QuickBooks Online (QBO).

I understand that you want the notification to stop, and I want to help you get through this situation. In QuickBooks, please know that even if you did not pay any employees in a tax month, you need to run payroll and submit an EPS (Employer Payment Summary) to HMRC. Doing this provides transparency and ensures your documents are accurate.

Now, I'll gladly input the steps below so you can proceed to submit an EPS and stop QuickBooks from getting EPS notifications. To begin, here's how:

  1. Go to Payroll.
  2. Run payroll for the current tax period.
  3. Use the toggle to remove the employees from the pay run.
  • If needed, you can download a draft PDF version of the employee's payslip by selecting the Net Pay link.

       4. Save and view draft.

       5. Confirm and submit.
