Hi there, @t-mccloskey-sky-.

I'm here to provide steps to help you submit your EPS in QuickBooks Online (QBO) so you can get back to working order. To get started, please refer to the steps below.

If you're using QuickBooks Online Standard Payroll:

  1. Navigate to the Taxes menu and select Payroll Tax.
  2. From the Payroll Tax Centre, you'll notice that if you have an EPS filing that needs to be sent, it is listed under Due Now or with a status of Overdue and the date that it was supposed to be sent.
  3. Click the EPS and view the details.
  4. Select Submit.
  5. Type your HMRC credentials if this is the first time you’re submitting to HMRC, then click Submit.

For your reference, please see this article: Submit EPS to HMRC in QuickBooks Online Standard Payroll.

If you're using QuickBooks Online Advanced Payroll:

  1. Go to the Payroll settings then HMRC Settings.
  2. Scroll down to see the EPS settings fields.
  3. From the Submit Employer Payment Summary (EPS) monthly on the field, choose a date between the 5th and 19th of the month to submit your EPS automatically.
  4. If you pick Don't submit Automatically, simply go to the Reports tab to submit this form.
  5. Then, select the Employer Payment Summary report.
  6. To see this report you have to ensure that you have RTI enabled for the business.
