I processed M2 payrun, the screen refreshed to the payroll overview page and M2 is nowhere to be found. It is not in Pay History or on the overview page.

Hello there, attention.

Let me help you with locating your M2 pay run in QuickBooks Online (QBO).

Since you have processed this pay run, this should be available in the pay history. That said, we can perform a troubleshooting that help us rectify this concern. Concerns such as the unavailability of some data are commonly caused by too much cached on your computer.

In this, we can start performing browser troubleshooting to eliminate common errors that might be causing the problem. Please proceed by opening a private browser window. An excessive amount of cached data may cause QuickBooks to perform oddly.

Here are the keyboard shortcuts to open a private browser:

  • Google Chrome: press Ctrl Shift N
  • Mozilla Firefox: press Ctrl Shift P
  • Microsoft Edge: press Ctrl Shift P
  • Safari: press Command Shift +N

Once done, please log in to your account to a regular browser. After that, I suggest deleting your browser cache to refresh the system. If the same thing happens, I recommend using other supported browsers. This way, we can identify if this is a browser-integrated issue.

If the same thing happens, it’s best to contact our Technical Support Team. Doing so will enable our support to check your company file in a secure setting. Also, they have the tools such as screen-sharing while keeping your privacy and determining to root cause of this matter.

Keep me posted if you have more concerns with payroll. I’m always here to help. Stay safe!
