How do I handle paying shared parental pay in paysuite?

Hey regeorge,

 

You can access the Shared Parental Pay options within Paysuite, click on the Employee; then on Absences, then onto Shared Parental Pay.

 

I've found this article, which references Parental Pay, as a Shared Element, we don't have a ready typed article specifically for just Shared Parental Pay, as the options within the system are so few for SPP.

It's 2023 now and I'm trying to add ShPP to an employee's payroll, and there doesn't seem to be an option to do this anymore. Is anyone available to help me with this issue?

Hi Joe, thanks for joining this thread - shared parental pay is not currently supported in either version of our QuickBooks Online Payroll. We appreciate this feature may be necessary for some of our customers, and we'll be sure to pass feedback onto our developers for this.
