How do i pay a leaver in lie notice following termination in quickbooks payroll

Hello @airhostandclean,

 

You'll have to manually pay your employee's leave depending on their pay type. If paid by an hourly rate, you'll have to create an additional item on your employee's profile.

  1. Go to Employees.
  2. Find and open your employee's profile.
  3. Click Additional pay.
  4. Select the appropriate payment type.
  5. Enter the amount.
  6. Click Save.

But if your employee is salaried, you'll have to create a second payroll as the leave payment. You can read this article to learn more: Process a leaver in QuickBooks Online Standard Payroll.
