How do I set up a new employee on the payroll?

I’m using quickbooks to pay an employee with wage slip and ensuring they pay the correct PAYE and NI, but need some help doing this.

I'm happy to assist you with adding employees to QuickBooks Online Payroll. Here's a step-by-step guide:

 

  1. Go to Payroll and select Employees.
  2. Select New Employee.
  3. Complete the employee’s information in the different sections. (Personal Details, Employment Details, Year To Date)
  4. Save your changes.

Once done, you can now run payroll to pay your employees in QuickBooks

 

Additionally, you can invite employees to QuickBooks Workforce, allowing them easy access to their payslips and P60 documents whenever needed.
