It's nice to see you again, @gcj1971.

There is certainly a way to set up a statutory sick pay in QuickBooks Online. This option can be viewed and selected on the employee details screen.

Here's how:

  1. On the Employees screen, select an employee.
  2. Select Actions and select Employee's Leave.

  3. Select the Statutory pay and choose Statutory Sick Pay (SSP).
  4. Choose the First Day of leave
  5. For Average Weekly Earnings, QuickBooks Online calculates the average weekly earnings automatically.
  6. Once done, click Save.

For more details about the first and last day of leave and the average weekly earnings, you can check this article: Statutory Sick Pay (SSP)  in QuickBooks Online Standard Payroll.

I'll be around if you have further questions. I'd be delighted to help however I can. Have a great weekend!
