How to we remove pay categories on advanced payroll?

Hi, we are using advanced payroll and are reviewing the payroll categories we currently have. There are a number that we would like to remove as they are no longer relevant but the option isn't available. Does anyone know how we can remove these?

Hello Lsnap, thanks for posting on the Community. You can remove a pay category in QuickBooks Online Advanced Payroll by navigating to Payroll Settings > Pay Categories > Hover mouse over pay category (or click to expand) > Click the red x symbol to the right-hand side > Select Delete on the confirmation pop-up. If the x appears grey, you won't be able to delete this as it's a system-generated category.
