I cannot start my 2021/2022 payroll after running year end

I want to ensure you'll be able to process or start your payroll for 2021 to 2022.

 

First, may I know what specific error message you've received when trying to process your payroll? This way, I can gather enough resources and share with your the right amount of resolution. 

 

On the other hand, please make sure to have an active payroll subscription to continue using and running your payroll transactions. You can check out your current subscription by following these steps:

 

  1. Open your QuickBooks Online account, then go to the Gear icon.
  2. Select Accounts and Settings under Your Company.
  3. Head over to the Billing & Subscription tab, then make sure that you have the active payroll service from there.

 

If your payroll subscription got expired, here's how you can resubscribe to it.
