Question

I cannot submit my VAT return via QB, showing cannot connect to HMRC and has been like this for several week now, I cannot get through to HMRC as they are busy

Thanks for letting us know about the issue you’re experiencing when connecting to HMRC. Allow me to share some information about this.


We’ve received reports from other users who are unable to submit the return. There’s already an open ticket about this issue and our engineers are working their best to resolve this issue as quickly as possible (INV-30086).


In the meantime, we’ll have to add the company to receive email updates. We protect the safety  of your account, so I recommend contacting our QBO Care Team.


One of our specialists can the company information in a secure environment. You can reach them through here:

 

  1. In your QBO company, click on the to Help at the top.
  2. Click on the Contact Us link at the bottom of the page.
  3. Enter contact support in the field box, and click on the Let's Talk button.
  4. In the Choose a way to connect with us section, select Chat or Call us.

I'll let update this thread once the permanent resolution is available.

Hi 

 

I have already contacted support who tried to help but couldn't, we even did a screen share and no joy. I have been told to try in evening as HMRC are less busy whoever as explained I have been trying for 2 weeks at all times. 

 

This needs to be sorted today as I have to submit my Vat return or I will get into trouble with HMRC
