Solved

I have deleted payrolls for March,Apr&May due to wrong SMP calculation. FPS were submitted for 3 months but EPS was rejected for March, overdue for Apr&May. please advise

Unlike the FPS report, the EPS report is cumulative meaning it will contain data for all periods in the current tax year to date on the most recent submission.

 

The EPS becomes available and is able to be submitted between the 6th - 19th of the following tax month, if not submitted by this date then the EPS for that period can be deleted and an EPS will be generated for the following period containing the data from the deleted period.

Hello there, herts,

 

You might not be able to file the EPS if:

  • If you have paid employees within the current pay period (no payment period is indicated), FPS filings have been submitted.
  • You haven't paid SMP or SPP before sending EPS.
  • You have outstanding payrolls for the month. Then the EPS filing is listed, but cannot be submitted until you’ve run all payroll for the tax month.

I also recommend contacting our QuickBoosk support so we can check your account. Here's how: 

  1. Click the Help (?) button in the upper right.
  2. Select Contact Us.
  3. Enter your concern in the field and select Let's talk.
  4. Choose a way to connect with us.
  • Chat - If you want to connect with our live chat representative. 
  • Get a callback - If you want to schedule a call to speak with someone over the phone.

Hi

I've been trying to submit my EPS for Month 10 and Month 11. I ended up deleting Month 10, in the hope that it might submit month 11 (Month 12 went through fine).  Both Month 10 and 11 have been rejected and now Month 10 is deleted.

I'm not sure how to proceed.  I've emailed HMRC but haven't had a response.

Any advice?
