Question

I have QB Online and Payroll with multicurrency turned on. I switched acct software so don't use QB now but I still need to see the info within QB. How can I downgrade?

I tried to downgrade to Simple Start but can't because of multi currency being turned on. I also need to be able to see the Payroll history

It's good to hear that you're having different accounts, melady. Let me share information about the currency feature and downgrading your subscription.

The multicurrency feature allows you to record transactions in foreign currencies. Once activated, it can't be disabled because the system needs to maintain accurate currency conversion. Additionally, please know that multicurrency is exclusive to other plans besides Simple Start, which explains why downgrading is unavailable on your end.

Additionally, if your subscription plan is already expired, you'll have a read-only access valid for 1 year to see the data in your account.

Consider checking out this article to guide you with downloading your data from QBO: Export reports, lists, and other data from QuickBooks.

We'll be happy to see you here if you have additional questions about managing your subscriptions. We've got you covered, and we'll get back to you. Take care.

Thanks for the response Heide.

Will I also keep access to Payroll records for 1 year and can they all be downloaded to?

Hi melady Thanks for reaching out to us here on the Community. We note that you're susbscribed to the Advanced payroll system therefore if you cancel the product won't have access to the payroll system or the related reports, therefore we recommend that you download any data that you require before canceling the payroll subscription.
