Question

I have submitted the FPS using Advanced Payroll. In the Pay Runs I can see the HMRC submission is successful. However in HMRC site I can't see any RTI notices. Is it OK?

Hello and welcome to the QuickBooks Community, sergey-ananyev-t

We'll be happy to share some guidance on your FPS submission to HMRC.

Where the GatewayTimestamp shows as True, this means that the submission was successful. Please note, it can take up to 24-72 hours for the data to sync and show on your HMRC account.

If you need any further support, please don't hesitate to get back in touch. Thanks for reaching Intuit QuickBooks Community, have a great day.

Hi Georgia,

The submission was sent on 24th April, but I can't see it in the HMRC site in the RTI notices. If I understand correctly there should be a notice confirming the submission.

Hello Sergey-ananyev-t, thanks for your reply, in the case where the FPS is accepted but not showing on the HMRC Site, can we ask you to double check you are signed in with the correct details and that the account office reference and PAYE reference are correct.

If so, you could download the FPS that was submitted in QuickBooks as proof for HMRC. Or alternatively you can resubmit in QuickBooks the FPS as a correction. Essentially if you wanted to go that route it would be a case of unlocking/rolling back the payroll for that month, then re-run the payroll for the same time period, when submitting the FPS again you will need to have the late reason option correction to earlier submission.

Any questions let us know.
