I use standard payroll, how do I reinstate a leaver so I can furlough them?

Even if I put them down as a leaver by mistake?


Hi Richardboxy If you haven't submitted the FPS then you can rollback and correct the error. If you've submitted the FPS then you'll have to create the employee again.

Hello, @MensroomUK.

 

Here's how:

  1. Go to the Employees menu.
  2. Choose the Employee tab.
  3. Locate the leaver.
  4. Click on the leaver's name.
  5. Hover your mouse to the Actions drop-down.
  6. Select the Edit leaver status. 
  7. From the pop-up window, click the Unmark employee's name as a leaver link.

Once completed, the employee's status will be changed. You can now run payroll for the employee and furlough them.

Hi I am trying to reinstate a leaver but the "edit leaver status" is greyed out and I can't click on it to amend, any ideas?

Hi Richard You'r not able to reinstate leavers, you'll have to set them up as a new employee.
