Thanks for coming here, @alphafinancesuk-.

Let me help you look for the missing employee information so you can run payroll.

Before anything else, I'd like to know if any specific error message was shown when you tried running payroll.

In the meantime, we can run some basic troubleshooting steps to fix it. To begin, open your QuickBooks Online (QBO) account in a Private browser or Incognito mode to avoid storing cache files that cause odd behaviors and to identify if this is a browser-related issue. Feel free to follow the shortcut keys below:

  • Google Chrome: press Ctrl + Shift + N
  • Mozilla Firefox: press Ctrl + Shift + P
  • Microsoft Edge: press Ctrl + Shift + N
  • Safari: press Command + Shift + N

Once done, try running the payroll there. If this works, let's clear the cache of your regular browser to eliminate accumulated data. If the issue persists, utilize another supported browser or device. It might be that the recent one you're using has a temporary issue with the program.

You might want to learn the process of submitting an FPS (Full Payment Submission) to HMRS in QBO, feel free to read this article: Submit an FPS to HMRC in QuickBooks Online Standard Payroll.

We're just one reply away if you have additional info about your payroll concern or questions. Keep safe.
