National Insurance number

I have an employee who has refused to give us there NI number. I have spoken to HMRC and they said i can request it via payroll on a NVR form does anyone know how to do this ?

Hi sar20 Thanks for reaching out to us here on the Community. Our systems don't have the ability to submit a NINO Verification Request however you can do this through HMRC's basic tools.
