Thanks for getting back to us with additional details, info483.

A possible browser issue might have caused the Employees button to e unresponsive. Let me share some steps that can resolve common browser issues when working in QuickBooks Online.

First, log in to your account on an incognito or private browsing session. Follow these keyboard shortcuts to quickly do that:

  • Google Chrome Ctrl + Shift + N
  • Mozilla CTRL + SHIFT + P
  • Microsoft Edge CTRL+SHIFT+P
  • Safari Command-Shift-N

Second, log back in go back to the Employee section and check if you can already click on it and process payroll.

If that works, proceed to deleting your browsing history to free up some space. Use this article as a guide: Clear cache and cookies to fix issues when using QuickBooks Online.

Hello info483 👋, Thanks for reaching to the community with your issue.

Could you go into a little more detail so I understand whats happening, When accessing the employee's page go you get a blue spinning wheel? Any errors appear? And what payroll you have upgraded too?  We will work together to resolve this issue with you. Look forward to your response. Thanks

I’ve upgraded to the basic Payroll not the advanced.
when I block on the left hand menu buttons everything works. All except the “Employees” button. When clicking on this to enter the payroll section it just gives you a duplicate set of buttons from the left hand side. Again all buttons work on this duplicated set except for the “Employees” button which does nothing.
