Question

Our client is trying to submit their VAT return but when it starts to submit it just stops and goes back to the declaration screen, anyone else had this issue?

Hey there, danhallwcw.


There’s already an open ticket about this unusual behavior when submitting the VAT return (INV-37034). Our product developers are working to fix this issue as soon as possible.


In the meantime, contact our QBO Care Team to help you sign up for the list of affected users. After adding, you'll be notified through email once updates are available.


Here’s how:

 

  1. Go to the Help menu in the upper right hand to open the Search window.
  2. From there, scroll down to click the Contact us link.
  3. Type the issue or topic under the What can we help you with section and then hit the Let’s talk button.
  4. Chose how you want to get in touch with our support team: Start a chat or Call us.


The notification list gives our engineers an overview as to how many users are affected and used the information to enforce the permanent resolution.


Rest assured, I’ll update this thread when there’s progress about the investigation.
