Outsourced Payroll access to use API from payroll software to our clients QBO accounts.

We have outsourced our payroll and rather than have to manually do the monthly payroll figures I wondered if there is a way to set them up with restricted access to QBO for the sole reason to use the API connection to journal monthly figures into QBO for our clients. Is this possible?
