Pay an employee different hourly rates

I understand the importance of setting employees' hourly rates in bulk. However, this feature is currently unavailable in QuickBooks Online (QBO).

In the meantime, we can set each employee's hourly rates individually.

1. Go to Payroll, then choose Employees.
2. Choose your employee.
3. From Pay types, select Start or Edit.
4. Select + Another hourly rate.
5. You can change the Pay type name if you want, and enter the Rate per hour.
6. Repeat steps 4-5 if you need more pay items. 
7. Once done, click Save.
