Question

Paycheck drafting

Hello! I run payroll for our company, and I am wondering if there is a way to stop employee paychecks from drafting individually from our bank account. Other employees have access to the bank account for various reasons, but we would prefer them not see what each employee makes individually if possible. Ideally, we would only have one lump sum drafted for all employee's pay.

Hi there, @laurenwbhm.

I'm here to answer your payroll concerns in QuickBooks.

The option to lumpsum all employee's paychecks, when posted in the bank, is unavailable in QuickBooks Online (QBO) Payroll. The way, you view these transactions depends on the features of your financial institution.  That said, I'd recommend reaching out to them to check if this is possible.

Additionally, let me share this article to help you manage your payroll schedules in QuickBooks. How to set up and assign pay schedules to pay your employees in QuickBooks payroll.

If you have any other QBO Payroll queries, please don't hesitate to share them with us. We're always here to provide you with assistance. Have a good one.
