Looking to move payroll from HMRC basic tools to Quickbooks Online Payroll. Does the import employee data work for part way through the tax year? Or does it require manually adding data? Thanks

Thanks for your interest in QuickBooks Online Payroll. 

 

You can import employee data at any point in the tax year. If you are only importing the minimum data required, be sure to add the year-to-date information post-import in each employees settings.

Thank you for your reply.  Can you tell me what’s not imported when moving mid year from HMRC basic tools to Quickbooks Online Standard Payroll.

There are certain data elements may not be imported when migrating mid-year from HMRC Basic Tools to QuickBooks Online Standard Payroll. This is because the features and other functionalities of the two payroll services differ.
