How can change the Payroll date to enter checks on a week by week basis, instead of quarterly and year-to-date. I would prefer to enter them weekly to catch the employees up due to when some employees that started having SIMPLE IRA deducted and Officers that met their social security wages.

In QuickBooks Online Payroll, you can create, manage, assign, or update pay schedules. Here's how:

 

  1. Go to Payroll, then Employees.
  2. Select your employee.
  3. From Employment details, select Start or Edit.
  4. From the Pay schedule ▼ dropdown, select the pay schedule for the employee moving forward. Or, to create a new pay schedule, select + Add pay schedule.
  5. Fill out the appropriate fields. Then select Save.
  6. Once done, click Save.
