Quickbooks has deleted my payroll, including years worth of history. I'm still waiting for someone "higher up" to resolve this issue. Now late on submitting FPS info to HMRC and it's not looking great for next month. How and can this actually be resolved?

I understand the urgency to recover your payroll data. Since years' worth of history has been deleted, we will contact our payroll support team about this, Ian. Let me direct you to them.

Before we contact our payroll support team, I would like you to try and check the audit log if the data has been actually deleted.

To access the Audit Log in QuickBooks Online:

  1. Log in to your QBO account.
  2. Click on the Gear icon (⚙️) in the upper right corner.
  3. Under the Tools section, select Audit Log.

After checking the audit log and confirming that the payroll data has been deleted, we can proceed to contact our payroll support team to help you recover the lost data.

Here's how to contact them:

  1. In your QuickBooks (QBO) Online account, select the Help icon at the top right corner.
  2. Hit the Search tab.
  3. Type "Talk to support," then hit enter.
  4. At the lower right side, click Contact Us.

Moreover, I'll include this article that can help you with the reports when using QuickBooks Online payroll: Run payroll reports.

If you need further assistance with managing your payroll in QuickBooks Online, just click the reply button. I'm always here to help.
