Payroll Journal Entries
Hi,
I'm a very small business. I have one employee, my husband. At the end of every quarter, I end up screwing up and not recording the last payroll check of the quarter. I don't record everything thing daily, more like monthly (or worse) Every time it's such a hassle because I keep getting an error saying 'you may owe penalties' when I'm trying to do the quarterly payroll tax, and it won't let me enter in the check from the month before. I have to call and wait for an 'expert' to do it for me. Has anyone found a way around this? Other than staying on top of my bookkeeping? 🙂 Thanks!
