Payroll subscription not working

Hello Quickbooks,

I am getting the same error as others appear to be getting when trying to subscribe to payroll.  We to have overdue payroll and its a nonsense that we have to speak to the HMRC about this, perhaps you would like to sit and wait all day on hold for us!.  Your website flashes up with all the fancy stuff about.....

......Smart, simple accounting software - support when you need it most

How is this smart? Why is directing us to HMRC simple (for you maybe)?  And where is the support when we need it most?

Please give us a proper time frame for when this will be fixed.

Thank you.

Hi there, @CE10

Welcome to the Community. I understand the need to get the Payroll subscription working again so you can catch up with paying your employees.

Checking on our records, the issue is currently in an In-Progress status. Though we're unable to provide the proper time frame of the fix, I can assure you that our engineers are diligently working to identify the cause and resolve the issue as quickly as possible.

I appreciate all your feedback, and I want to ensure you'll be notified about the status of the investigation through email. Please contact our Customer Care team again and provide this number: INV-45807 for easy tracking in adding your company to the list of affected users.

Please know also that due to the worldwide pandemic, we have limited staffing and reduced our support hours to 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM, Monday to Friday.

I'm adding here some articles that can guide you in running payroll using the Advanced and Standard subscription:
