The more i use quickbooks online, the more i hate this product.

Why does the search icon, when searching for a transaction of £2.78 not show up in the search results, when i can clearly see it in the transaction list?

 

I have been searching for transactions to ensure i dont enter the same thing twice, since i have downloaded my bank statement as well as a credit card.   I  searched for some transactions but some it found, and not others.  The ones it didnt find i assumed i had not entered in another way.  Now i try to find £2.78 and it says it cant find it, but i can clearly see it in the list of expenses under banking.    

 

I have many other issues like this, but dont want to dilute this issue

For now, our engineers are still working on the issue about the transaction search details unable to display when searching using the standard search icon. I suggest getting in touch with us so we’d add your account information to the notification list. This way, you’ll receive email updates and a fix once available.

 

Here’s how to reach us:

  1. Go to the Help icon and click Contact us
  2. Enter your concern about the standard search option won't display the transaction details. 
  3. Click Let's talk
  4. Select Start a chat

You can use the Advanced Search option as a workaround. When you click the magnifying glass, select the Advanced Search link.
