I'll help enter and pay your employee in QuickBooks Online Payroll.

 

Employees who are working different hours weekly are assigned to payroll with an irregular working schedule. This way, you are free to enter hours worked every week with an hourly pay rate and the payroll system will calculate it for you.

 

Now to set these things up, start by giving a complete name to the employee setup, choosing Hourly as the pay type, and making sure to put a checkmark on the Yes, their schedule is irregular selection menu.
