Statutory Paternity pay

Good afternoon, 

I am looking for some urgent help. I have an employee, who I need to pay SPP for. I am using Advanced payroll and I have followed the Quickbooks instructions, but when I come to the pay run for this month, it is not calculating correctly. 

I need to pay the employee for the month. 1 week is to be paid SPP and the rest of the month, is to be paid as normal. If I tick the offset SPP, it will just pay the full months Net pay. If I untick it, it will only pay for the SPP. Neither of these scenarios are correct for me, as he needs to be paid 1 week at the statutory amount and the other weeks as his normal pay. 

Any help would be much appreciated, as the live chat, is not helpful at all and I am still awaiting a response back 3 hours later.

Can you please check the setup of the SPP on the employee and make sure all the information is filled out correctly. If your still having issues then please can you ring the support line on 0808 234 533 the line is open mon to fri 8am to 7pm and is free from any UK landline and mobile and the agent on the phone will be able to set up a screen share with you and have a look into all the areas more for you and get this issue resolved quicker for you.
