Statutory Paternity pay
Good afternoon,
I am looking for some urgent help. I have an employee, who I need to pay SPP for. I am using Advanced payroll and I have followed the Quickbooks instructions, but when I come to the pay run for this month, it is not calculating correctly.
I need to pay the employee for the month. 1 week is to be paid SPP and the rest of the month, is to be paid as normal. If I tick the offset SPP, it will just pay the full months Net pay. If I untick it, it will only pay for the SPP. Neither of these scenarios are correct for me, as he needs to be paid 1 week at the statutory amount and the other weeks as his normal pay.
Any help would be much appreciated, as the live chat, is not helpful at all and I am still awaiting a response back 3 hours later.
