Stop Pensionsync

I have setup the QBO Advanced Payroll for the first time and setup pensionsync.

I havent run a payroll yet but wish not to have the pensionsync-ing, I would prefer to manually do this after I am completely happy that everything is ok with the payroll run details.

I believe it is not possible to unlock/delete a payrun/rerun if pensionsync set ( which could be likely as we get used to it, due to us using this instead of QB desktop payroll :-)

So how do I unsync?

Thanks

Hi KM_KM,

Thanks for joining this thread - please select Payroll > Payroll Settings > Pension Settings > Actions > Add manual scheme - this should then create a separate tab titled 'New' under 'Pension schemes' with the fields to enter the scheme and admin details.

If you don't see this here, please get back to us below with a screenshot if possible so we can take a closer look. 🙇‍♀️

Hi MrPlunk

I you haven't submitted the payrun via pension sync then you will be able to set the pension up manually and then in the pensions settings page there is an action option and you will be able to select the manual pension.

Hi

I have the same question, and I cant find the 'manual' option you've described in the pension settings.

In the Action tab I have three options.

1. add manual scheme

2. import from pensionsync

3. open pensionsync dashboard.

I have not completed the pensionsync as I dont want to use it.
