An employees tax code has been changed to 716T X but when i try change it on the payroll its saying the below. What am i doing wrong?

Hi Helen81 Thanks for reaching out to us here on the Community. The X on the tax code refers to Week1/Month1 therefore you don't include the X when entering the tax code and ensure that the Week1/month 1 field/box is selected.
