Hi there, @diane12m.

It's possible that the setup of your payroll didn't match to what HMRC records. Let's first review the pay period and HMRC settings from the Account and Settings to make sure it's accurate.

Here's how:

  1. In your QuickBooks Online, click the Gear icon and select Account and Settings.
  2. Go to the Payroll menu.
  3. Review the Pay schedule and HMRC settings to make sure it matches the HRMC records. Make a correction if need by clicking the pencil icon.
  4. Click Done.

Once you're done reviewing, try to remit it to HRMC again to double-check.

If the issue persists, I'd suggest contacting our Phone Support Team. This way, they can further investigate this matter and provide additional information about your concern.
