I have set up a project in Quickbooks online.

I have added employees to the project, however I am unable to invite them to enter timesheets.

Is this because I dont have Quickbooks Premiums account?

Good to hear that you're using the project feature in QuickBooks Online,@Sajeel.

I'll share some information about adding users and troubleshooting steps. So you're able to add the employee in QuickBooks Online.

Make sure you've logged in as a Master Administrator or Company Admin to be able to add a user. Once verified, re-add the employee by going to the Gear icon, then choose Manage Users

For more details, check out this article: Add, delete, or change user access.

If the issue persists, I'd suggest doing primary troubleshooting steps to isolate the problem. Sometimes, a browser full of cache and temp files can cause unexpected behaviors. With this, let's log in to your QBO account via incognito to isolate the problem.

Here are the shortcut keys:

  • Ctrl Shift (Google Chrome)
  • Ctrl Shift (Firefox)
  • Control Option (Safari)
  • Ctrl + Shift + P (Microsoft Edge)

Once you've logged in, re-check if it's already functioning well. If that works, please clear the cache of your regular browser. Using other supported browsers is a great alternative too.

I've attached articles about how to trace income, cost, probability by project, and managing users in QBO.

You can always get back here in the Community if you have more questions about adding a user in QBO. I'll be here to help. Take care!
