Total Payroll Cost - how is that calculated. The total payroll cost is higher than the adding together the employees gross pay - so what else is included in the Total?

Hello there, @546984, 

 

Just to verify, are you using a US or CA versions of QuickBooks Online? If so, allow me to share some information about the contents of the Total Payroll Cost report. 

 

This report doesn't only include your employees gross pay. It also includes the net pay, deductions, company contributions, and taxes. 

 

There's currently no option to see this report for UK versions.
