Trying to edit tax settings on the VAT - MT Digital page. Box for Effective date of new scheme, defaults to 01/12/2008 and won't save any change to that date.

I've got steps that we can try to save your changes, bjowett.

You probably just need to refresh QBO to successfully change the effective date. Here are the steps to get started:

1. Access QBO in a private window and make the changes there.
2. If it works, clear your browser's cache.
3. Switch to another browser to do this task.

But if you get the same result, it would be best to call in. We can check why the date defaults to 01/12/2008 and make sure it gets fixed right away.
