We have a client who has always filed his own VAT returns through our MTD. Everything works our end but he cannot connect to HMRC. Any ideas how to solve this?

Hi Taylorandcoacc, thanks for coming back to us, so what you will need to do is get the cleint to reauth the mtd connection if they have been filing more than 18 months with mtd. That should resolve the issue they have been having. If they still have a problem then please reach back out to us again.
