Hi there, @ouriol.

Thank you for reaching out to us here on the Community page. I'm here to provide some troubleshooting steps so you can access the Taxes tab seamlessly.

Usually, buffering happens when the internet speed is too slow to download the amount of data needed. Or when there's too much cache data stored on the browser you're using.

To fix this, you can start by opening QuickBooks using a private window and click the Taxes tab from there. This browser prevents any virus infections that can cause unexpected behaviour when using QuickBooks.

To save you time, use either of these keyboard shortcuts:

  • Google Chrome: Ctrl Shift N
  • Safari 11 or newer: ⌘ Shift N
  • Mozilla Firefox: Ctrl Shift P
  • Microsoft Edge: Ctrl Shift P

If it works fine, go back to your original browser and clear its cache to start fresh.

Or, try using other supported browsers to isolate the issue further.

Aside from taxes, you may also explore other features of QuickBooks. While doing that, you may open the topics needed from our help articles.
