Why doesn’t quickbooks connect to Santander business UK anymore? I will be forced to use alternate software if this issue does not get resolved, its been fine for years!!

Quickbooks disconnected from my business account last Saturday, if i search for a new connection it only offers standard Santander current accounts, there is no option to manually input account information. VERY DISAPPOINTED!!!

Your experience isn't easy. We know that this is affecting your company's daily financial transactions. Right now, you have me, so let's get on top of this.

 

Currently, there are no reported issues with Santander Bank. To ensure QuickBooks is being disconnected from your financial institution. Follow the steps below:

 

  1. Click the Pencil icon above the bank balance.
  2. Tick the Edit Account info.
  3. Select Disconnect this account on save.
  4. After that, reconnect using the option 'Santander and Cahoot (UK)".

 

But before that, review the transactions already downloaded from your bank to prevent them from downloading duplicates when you reconnect.

Thanks for info, that’s fine with “Santander and cahoot uk” but that doesn’t allow me to link to business accounts, the app switches straight over to the personal account for Santander, not business accounts!!

To ensure that this gets sorted out as soon as possible, I recommend contacting our QuickBooks Online Support Experts. They have the tool to securely review your account and look for the root cause of the problem to provide you with a timely solution.

 

To contact support, here's how:

 

  1. In your QBO account, click on Help (?).
  2. In QB Assistant, enter the topic you need help with. You can also enter questions.
  3. Select Contact Us to connect with a live support agent in the Search section.
  4. Choose a way to connect with us:
    • Start a chat with a support expert. Live chat all day, M-F.
    • Call us. M-F, 8:00 AM to 10:00 PM, and S-S, 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM.

For the time being, I recommend uploading your bank transactions manually as a workaround so you can keep track of your entries in QuickBooks.
