Welcome to the Community space, @Adibog87. Allow me to guide you in disconnecting your MTD.

There are a few things to keep in mind before disconnecting

  • Information will no longer be shared between QuickBooks Online and HMRC
  • You may no longer be able to submit digital VAT returns

Let's now disconnect your MTD:

  1. Go to the Gear icon and select Account and Settings.
  2. In the Advanced tab, select Making Tax Digital to expand the section.
  3. Select Learn how to disconnect.
  4. Click Continue, then Select Disconnect to confirm.
  5. Hit Continue to return to QuickBooks Online.

Then, let's reconnect using the correct credentials:

  1. In QuickBooks, go to Taxes.
  2. Choose Set up MTD, then click Authorise now.
  3. Select Continue.
  4. A window will pop up, log in to your MTD Government Gateway credentials. You can find this in the confirmation email you receive from HMRC.
  5. Select Continue, then click Give permission.
  6. Once you're connected, select Continue and then Go to Taxes.

You'll see a badge appear on your taxes dashboard to indicate that MTD for VAT is enabled. Here's what it looks like:
