Are there any other Partnership businesses using QBO that have found a simple solution to submitting SA800 Annual Tax Returns (other than on paper).  I’ve been waiting for Intuit to add this function since MTD was introduced but there seems to be no plans in place to address this.

I'll provide some information about annual tax returns in QuickBooks, Rich55.

 

Making Tax Digital (MTD) has been introduced by HMRC to help individuals and businesses to get their taxes right. This means that many are leaving their spreadsheets or paper records behind and moving over to a new system. 

 

At the moment, QuickBooks MTD software only supports VAT Returns and Payroll taxes. You'll want to let our product team know how important for you to file the SA800 Annual Partnership Tax Returns in QuickBooks Online (QBO). You can visit our Customer Feedback page and submit your request from there by clicking the Give feedback option. I've attached a screenshot for your guide:

 

 

In addition, every time you pay your employees, you'll always have to submit Full Payment Submission (FPS) to HMRC to show all payments made to employees together with deductions.
